Official business. Unofficially super fun.
Hello Helper is a private home base for the babysitting, pet-sitting, yard work, and odd jobs your family already does. No strangers, no searching, no marketplace.
Running a babysitting business isn't just showing up and playing Uno for two hours. It's remembering who asked for Friday, asking your parents to text back three different parents, and trying not to double-book yourself. That's a lot to keep in your head (or your parent's phone).
Your Hello Helper page does the annoying parts for you:

Your Helper Pages
Set this up for your helper. They'll personalize it later.
Your helper uses this (not your login) to open and edit their own page.
Optional. Fill this in now or come back to it later from Manage Page.
Share this private link. It won't show up in any search or directory.
Enter your passcode to open your page
This is your page. Update it any time.
Make it feel like you. This is what families see when they visit your page.
Totally optional. Fill in as many as you want!
Only your parent can approve or decline these.
Edit anything your helper needs. Some sections they can also update themselves.
Their passcode login uses this name, so let them know if you change it. Their link/QR code stays the same either way.
This also shows up when they log in with their own passcode, so updates either of you make stay in sync.
Avatar, color, and font. They can also change this themselves from their own login.
Optional. Your helper can fill these in on their own too.
They won't see or edit this section from their own login.
You choose whether it's shown on the page.
Pause, reactivate, or permanently delete this page.
Their page is visible and bookable. Pausing hides it from anyone using their link, QR code, or access code. Their content stays saved, and either of you can reactivate it anytime. They can still log in with their passcode to make updates while paused.
This is permanent and can't be undone.
They'll see this once their parent approves it.
We'll use this to let you check your request status later.
Their parent needs to approve it first. You'll hear back once they do.
Approve or decline requests for any of your helpers.
Enter the helper's code and the email you used when you sent a request.
Free Pilot Version
Hello Helper is a place for young helpers to run their own small service pages (babysitting, pet care, yard work, cleaning, and similar kinds of help) and for families who know them to request that help. Hello Helper is currently in a free pilot phase while we build out the full product.
Hello Helper is a private platform for creating and sharing helper pages. It is not a staffing agency, employer, or marketplace. We do not employ, supervise, background-check, or vet any helper or family. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any profile, the qualifications of any helper, or the suitability of any family. Every arrangement made through Hello Helper is strictly between the helper's family and the requesting family. Hello Helper is not a party to it.
Hello Helper does not perform background checks, identity verification, or safety screening on any user, whether helper or requesting family. A helper's page is only reachable with a private link, QR code, or passcode, but this is not a substitute for personal vetting. Families are solely responsible for deciding whether to work with any helper, and for their own judgment about health, safety, and supervision, especially for childcare-related bookings. We strongly encourage every family to only connect with people they already know or can independently verify.
We do not sell personal information. We use it only to operate the app, for example, matching a booking request to the right helper page, or letting a parent manage their helper's page.
Hello Helper is intended to be used by minors only through a parent or guardian's account. A parent creates a helper page on behalf of their child, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child independent of that parent involvement.
During the free pilot, features, pricing, and these terms may change. We'll do our best to give notice of material changes before Hello Helper moves to a paid subscription.
Use of Hello Helper, and any arrangement made through it, is at each family's own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hello Helper and its founder(s) are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or dispute arising from a booking, connection, or interaction made through the app.
We may update these terms as the product evolves, especially as we move from pilot to a paid subscription. The current version will always be posted in the app.
Questions about these terms or how your information is used can be sent to [your contact email here].
